Health and Character Requirements
For most visas, all members of your family unit (whether migrating or not) must meet health and character requirements.
Health and character requirements operate on a 'one fail all fail basis'. That is, if anyone is assessed as not meeting one of these requirements the application will be refused.
What is required?
- Full health check
- Chest x-ray examination (for applicants aged 11 or over)
- Police Clearances (where the applicant is aged 16 or over) for every country resided in for more than 12 months in the last 10 years.
