Business Talent Visa
This permanent business visa is for high calibre business people, who are owners or part owners of an overseas business and have a genuine and realistic commitment to participate in the management of a new or existing business in Australia. The Applicant must have sponsorship from a State or Territory government of Australia.
These business visas may be applied for inside or outside Australia; however, applicants must be inside Australia at the time the visa is granted. All applicants must be less than 55 years old and meet health and character criteria. Certain business visa applicants will also need to meet the English language requirement.

State and Territory governments have their own criteria for deciding whom they will sponsor. Concessional visa criteria apply to sponsored applicants. To be eligible for State/Territory government sponsorship, amongst other criteria, the applicant must have had a significant annual turnover in their main business/es for at least two of the four fiscal years immediately before application.
